SEW CRAZY!!!

I LOVE my new sewing machine!!!!

It is very simple and the stitches are perfect

(my old one needed the tension tighten or something,

the stitches were uneven :(

I got out my machine and started attacking things

I've had in my "craft box" for years...

2 yards of Blue, fleece material I was given when I was pregnant

with my first daughter (I found out on Jan. 7, 2005... 7 yrs)

T-shirt quilt I started about 5 years ago...

I made the front, and originally planned to attach my

(now ex-) husband's t-shirt front to mine...

THANKFULLY! I never got around to it...

Actually, i can tell from some of the hidden stitches that

it must have been when my machine started messing up.

SO... I had two burgundy bed sheets in the box... guess I was

planning to use that :) And I finished the quilt!!!

With the 2 yards of blue fleece, I made 18 burp cloths,

to give to three new/about to be mama's with boys.

I am one busy, happy mama!!!

Christmas Crafts

I love Christmas and making crafts that I'll be so excited

to see next year when I unpack Christmas decorations.

I've been dreaming of a beautiful,

elegant tree next to a fireplace.

And now I have it!!!

My husband surprised me with a big pot

of poinsettias that I wanted to add.

We decided not to spend extra money,

so we've used mostly things we already had,

and then I bought some ribbon to add,

and JK bought us a cinnamon candle!

Our living room smells good and looks

BEAUTIFUL!!!

Happy Birthday Buddy!

Happy 4th Birthday to my Little Son!!!

I saw this idea on pinterest... had to try it!!!

Crepe paper zig zagged across

the door and taped to the sides.

I was SO excited about this idea,

then when I came down in the morning to

see the kids, Joel had come out of his room

by crawling underneath it :)

HAHA! BACKFIRED!!!

Then I told him to run full speed through the

paper... and he LOVED that!!!

(it's a Christmas present under the tree...

but my husband couldn't keep it a secret :)

I have the most amazing, supportive husband

in the WHOLE world!

I am so blessed that we have similar style,

loves, likes and desires!

He loves helping me make beautiful things

and helps me find places around the house

to put all the things I make :)

I started looking at Pinterest a couple months

ago! I am ADDICTED!

I love all the great ideas!

(thanks to everyone who has given me ideas!)

In 2012 I want to work on lots of practical

crafts! Things I can make for my kids and our

family! No more buying when I can make it :)
